Dear Special Friends,
Special Family News Update . . .
One of the greatest joys of “getting older” and being married for over 45 years now, is seeing your grandkids, (FIVE for us) and just sitting back and watching them play and laugh and get into “trouble” and enjoy life as a child.
They have no real worries, knowing their Mom and Dad are taking care of them and never far away.
We can’t help but think back to when we were in our late 20’s having our babies. It always brings a smile on our faces. In the coming weeks we will welcome our sixth grandbaby as our youngest daughter Audrianna is have another little girl.
They live in Mooresville, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. Brenda will fly up there for a week to help her in so many ways, priniply taking care of their other daughter Montana Jane, who is about 18 months old.
Special Ministry News Update . . .
Last month I was in Budapest, Hungary and Ljubljana, Slovenia. Some of the people I was with the Slovenia where Matjaz and Magdalena. We helped them start a church back in 2016 and they have since started another church.
It was geat to hear the stories first had from them about the church and the impact on the community. They also oversee the TEEN CHALLENGE in Slovenia, which help people overcome addictions from drugs. Amazing stories of so many changed lives.
Matjaz, the Pastor also had an amazing story of coming to Christ, as he was a Slovenian Police officer and a part of the SWAT Team.
These are just some of the stories of the impact we are helping national leaders make in Eastern Europe.
In a few weeks I will once again be in Hungary and Poland meeting with more pastors and leaders and helping them reach their countries with the Gospel
So, as we continue our ministry as missionaries and all my travel, never far from our minds are our kids and grandkids. That’s part of our “legacy” here on earth.
Our “legacy” also is what we do in Eastern Europe to expand the kingdom of God. We love our lives and thank you for helping us do all we do.
Serving in our 43rd Year as Missionaries,
Jim and Brenda
