Dear Special Friends of CMI and Jim and Brenda,
Last month we had 5 wonderful days in a big, rented house with all our Family in Asheville, North Carolina. All our kids are living in different states, so it was so much fun to have all 6 of our grandkids together, from 2 months to 10 years old, running and playing together except for the little baby, Francine (Frankie) Alexandra! But of course, the baby was a big attaching for everyone to take turns holding her. So small she is.
Our kids blessed us in so many was on this trip. By surprising me with and early birthday celebration with cake and all and with Jim and early Father’s Day time and cards and photos. Lots of “happy tears”! Special times with our kids, great conversations, stories, laughter, games, playing with the grandkids, fun times in the pool and lots of hugs and snuggling. Our grandkids call us “”Papa” and “Nagyi”.”Nagyi” is the Hungarian word for Grandma.
In August Jim will be in Budapest, Hungary and Sofia Bulgaria. He always looks forward to being with some amazing Pastors in the countries and hearing their stories and the excitement they have for reaching their countries with the Gospel.
One of the pastors we will meet with is Ivan, who Jim has known and worked with for probably over 10 years now. Ivan and his group are starting churches throughout Bulgaria. Sometimes reaching small villages that few people are reaching. We are glad we get to go. So thankful.
We will be helping to start at least two churches in Bulgaria this year. Thank you for helping us do this.
